Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was a member and the captain of 2012's Fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In 2012, she was awarded gold at the team events along with the floor exercises. For the balance beam Raisman earned a bronze. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to achieve the most number of medals in the Olympics. In the 2016 Olympics she won gold in the team event which brought her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. She also won silver medals for the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. She took a break of three years between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. Gold medal winner American team also won two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her most loved sport is floor exercise. Aly has joined the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in memory of her grandmother. Aly is planning to pursue an occupation as a designer. Her future goals include the expansion of her signature collection of leotards. She's writing a book called Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
